Latent Semantic Indexing For Business Profitability
Posted by Linda in Marketing Research, tags: nichebot, semantic indexingThis post provides latent semantic indexing for the term “business profitability.”
In case you don’t know what latent semantic indexing is, it’s how Google determines if a page is really relevant to the keyword that it uses. Google gets this keyword list from scanning other pages optimized for the same keyword. You can read more about Google’s keywords by clicking the link below:
Site Search Tracking: Google Analytics Reveals A Wealth of Information
I used to do latent semantic indexing searches manually, but I just started uses a new keyword service, Nichebot. It provides latent semantic indexing as part of its service. It also gives you the option of using WordTracker or Google for your searches, and then will let you get search counts for Google. As I’m sure you know, Google provides bars instead of search count numbers on its site. I don’t find the bars that helpful so I love this part of Nichebot’s service.
I also love its competition searches. Now I’m not talking about just getting the number of competitors, which Nichebot lets you do in several ways. I’m talking about actually investigating your competition’s key words, Alexa rankings, links, number of pages. Now that’s a time saver.
If you want to check out Nichebot, you can get a 14 day-trail for $1. But Jim is serious when he tells you that you can only take advantage of that $1 trail for four hours. I first checked out the site late one night, and the opportunity was gone the next morning. I even tried from another one of my computers. That didn’t work either. So take advantage of it as soon as you first go to the site. You can always cancel if you don’t like it.
Be prepared to spend a little time learning the service and watch the videos before you start. They were very helpful to me. I don’t know about you, but I’m NOT technically intuitive so I need that help. Jim also provides lots of written documents about keyword searching that I found very helpful. I think I read them all.
If you want to try Nichebot’s, 14 day trail for just $1.
I show by italics the latent semantic indexing words that I actually used in the articles. You can compare the list with the articles to see how I evolved the articles around the list. It was simple and relatively fast.
