Marketing with Dofollow Blogs and Dofollow Linkbuilding
Posted by Linda in Internet Marketing, Marketing, Other, tags: dofollow blogs, dofollow linkbuildingDofollow blogs can improve your search engine rankings and bring more visitors to your site or blog. In fact, dofollow linkbuilding is vital to on-line marketing.
Why Are Dofollow Blogs And
Dofollow Linkbuilding Important?
Google determines your site or blog’s popularity by how many links that are pointing to it. And commenting on dofollow blogs is one of the easiest ways to build lots of links.
But how do you know which links are dofollow instead of nofollow? How do you know where to spend your time making relevant, well-developed comments?
My Unsuccessful
Linkbuilding Experiences
I’ve been asking myself these same questions because I’ve spent loads of time doing unsuccessful linkbuilding.
First, I did article marketing, writing two to three articles per week with a service that required that each article be written three times so that the paragraphs could be intermixed to enable everyone that wanted a unique version of an article to get it.
I got hundreds of links from these articles, but Google didn’t count any of them. The articles did help me some with MSN and Yahoo. But as we all know, most search engine traffic comes from Google. So I wasted loads of energy and time.
I finally realized that the sites and blogs using the articles had poor page rank and no authority with Google. And that I had to go after links from more respectable sites and blogs.
So next, I picked some good blogs that were related to mine and started visiting them nearly every day. If a post was on a topic I could contribute to, I’d leave a comment. I left around 100 relevant, well-developed comments. Yet got very few links from them.
I didn’t understand why because I didn’t know about nofollow. In case you don’t know either, nofollow links aren’t counted as links. And nofollow links for comments are automatic in WordPress. The blog owner has to change the code and take the nofollow off or get a plug-in to make it a dofollow blog.
Dofollow Blogs And Resources
To Help Your Dofollow Linkbuilding
I just recently realized this and started doing some searches on dofollow blogs. I found a wealth of information, some dofollow search sites, dofollow blog directories, and several dofollow blog lists.
I’ve decided to share all this information with you, but it’s not finished yet because I’m checking each blog for page rank. I’ll post the dofollow resources tomorrow.

I hope my blog will be in your list Linda.
I decided earlier this year to take the do follow route with my blog. I installed in my WordPress blog the Nofollow Case by Case plug-in to support my decision.
If somebody writes a spammy comment, I put /dontfollow after his or her link. However, any reasonable comment is granted a follow link back to the poster’s site.
Larry,
Sorry I didn’t get your site on the first list, but it will definitely be on the second one, and it’s almost done.
We just installed the plugin on one of our sites. We’re monitoring how spammy it gets. If it gets out of hand, we’ll undo the plugin
Thanks for your article, Now there is more reason to comment than ever before! This is a great fir for our project!
Thanks Linda! The time I set aside for commenting is limited so I want to be sure when I leave a well thought out comment that my website is getting the ever sought after link. This list of DoFollow sites will help make my commenting time much more productive.
Debbie,
I’m adding to this list so come back and get some dofollow blogs.
Thanks for your comment. It’s always appreciated. And if you find my list of dofollow blogs helpful, will you please bookmark it in whichever bookmarking service you use.
Thanks,
Linda
Hello Linda, I can feel the same with you during my linkbuilding experience. I have tried as many way as I could to build quality backlinks to my web site. But so far it is hardly sucessful. It is nice to read your articles and learn something from them. Now I use seoQuake to tell the nofollow and do follow attribute. It really works for me.
Hi Cubic,
Getting backlinks is a continual process that sometimes gets old, but has to be done. I’m glad you are finding my blog helpful.
By the way, will you please check to see if my blog is showing as dofollow. Forextraining said it wasn’t.
Warmly,
Linda
Thanks for u sear with us this nice list bcz Do follow Bookmarking list its very useful bcz they get easily Back links, PR, Website Ranking and Traffics
As Google continues to refine their algorithm to discount spammy links and moves toward semantic search, and considering that most blogs have a low pagerank, I don’t foresee the benefit of do follow links continuing much longer. I also think this will contribute to Google losing relevance as eventually the only search results you will get are for mega conglomerate organizations that have been around forever.
Im having a lot of trouble with your blog loading lately. Intermittant, and goes to a page could not be found every so often. Hope there isnt any problems.
I just know article marketing don’t work. I try to find do follow blog, but it’ really hard to find by myself. The list of blog on many site usually out of date. They contain many broken link, no follow blog, site content change (no longer blog) etc.
Hi Hotel,
I’ve also put a lot of time into article marketing with little results. Google only counts one linkback for an article. It’s much faster to write a relevant comment than an article for a linkback. Plus commenting helps to build relationships with other bloggers.
I update my list after every Page rank change, but I sometimes don’t get the upgrades published until the end of the month. It takes time to go to each site to check the Page ranks. Then I have to record and produce the tables. I also write a post about the changes for that quarter. I hope you find my list helpful.
Warmly,
Linda
Hi Linda,
Iwould like to make a short comment on ” comments.” When visiters comment on a blog, they simply put their website link in the comment box which is the improper thing to do. They fail to realize that ” comment ” is just that. Giving their feedback on your blog along with their link to be published. I see more and more of this everyday.
Thought i would just pass this along.

Hi Emery,
I totally agree and address this issue on this post.

Linda
Hi mia,
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll have my tech person take and look to see what’s wrong.
Warmly,
Linda
Hi Jessica,
I’ve seen dofollow blogs with PR8, but I’ve been following the same blogs which started with a high of PR7. But PRs change often.
I also worry about the mega organizations taking over the Internet and search results. I think the secret for solo bloggers and small businesses is to use long tailed keywords with low competition. It takes a lot of keyword research to find them and the traffic they bring isn’t huge, but when you add up a year’s worth of posts, together they bring in some good traffic. That’s been my approach and I get around 400 visitors a day. Not huge, but still growing.
Warmly,
Linda
Thanks for share and dofollow blog
Do follow blogs are the big source to get the back link for the site,if the comment related to the post its to better.Commenting become a tool of seo.
